Rent with Ben Siggins

Reservation of a property through Ben Siggins

Once you have found a property through Ben Siggins Estate Agents and for the property to be taken off the market you must pay a one week deposit as a reservation fee.

You will be required to complete an online credit and referencing form so that the necessary references can be taken up.  Typically, we will check the following information:

  • National Insurance number
  • Employers/accountants and salary details
  • Credit Rating
  • Electoral roll details
  • Previous landlord or agent reference
  • ID

Click here to open our tenants guide which outlines what you will need to move forward with a rental property at Ben Siggins.

a) FIRST MONTH'S RENTAL

b) SECURITY DEPOSIT – This will be equal to 5 weeks rent. This will be held by the Deposit Protection Service as stakeholders or the Landlord's preferred government approved scheme, throughout the duration of the tenancy to cover dilapidations and/or outstanding account which may occur at the termination of the tenancy.  It is returned once the Landlord has claimed for dilapidations, if necessary.  In some cases, the deposit is held by the landlord if they are members of a deposit scheme. You will be advised if this is the case.
